Alone in the early morning on Lake Pontchartrain under the moonlit sky I paddled to a location I had visited several times before during the day but had never seen like this. An owl watches me searchingly as I try to setup my tripod in the water from my kayak. Reflections from distant city lights and the moon all lend to the unique colors in this shot.
