This series presents images of some of the more interesting lighthouses and nautical structures I photographed while traveling the west shore of Lake Michigan (USA). I have attempted to photograph structures using a fine art style or genre.

Walter Healey most enjoys photographing ordinary subjects and making them appear extraordinary. He is currently applying a fine art genre to Great Lakes' region lighthouses and other subjects en route. Walter greatly enjoys constructing art works from multiple photographs using the digital darkroom. His photographs have been recognized by the Sony World Photography Competition, LENS International, and other regional organizations. Works are exhibited at the Cedarburg Art Museum, Weyenberg Library Gallery, and Cedarburg Cultural Center.
